Evoking the refined simplicity of a contemporary Japanese restaurant, the design of American Japa is defined by an array of modular wood panels that envelope the dining room from wall to ceiling. The panels impart a feeling of warmth and geometric order that is characteristic of ceremonial Japanese interiors.

Greewalls add a playful and graphic element to the dining room while bringing light and delicate quality. Pared-down light fixtures were custom-designed to complement the materiality and distilled aesthetics of the space.
